Mr. Le Ba Thanh Chung

Chung is one of the few experienced international lawyers in projects, project finance, and construction (both front- and back-end) in Vietnam.

Chung is qualified to practice in Vietnam, New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States. He also hold an LLM degree from Duke University School of Law and an MBA from the Paris Chamber of Commerce. Over 16 years of law practice, Chung has acted as the legal adviser in a number of highly significant infrastructure and energy projects, many of those have been country-changing transactions for Vietnam. One of such projects is a US$9 billion refinery and petrochemical project, one of the largest in South East Asia. Chung has extensive and current experience in drafting and negotiating legal protection and investment incentives in form of Government guarantees and undertaking for infrastructure and energy projects in Vietnam.
