Dr. Arch. Truong Van Quang

Dr. Arch. Truong Van Quang is the Vice Chairman of Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association. He formerly served as the Vice Director of National Rural Planning Institute under the Ministry of Construction. Dr. Truong Van Quang has wide experience in urban planning, scientific research and training. He has involved extensively in the Vietnam’s Master Plan for Development of Vietnam's Urban System to 2025 with a Vision to 2050, Hanoi Capital Master Plan to 2030, Masterplan for Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone 2030 – 2050, and coastal public space planning for tourism cities in Vietnam in order to enhance the accessibility and adaptation to climate change. Dr. Truong Van Quang has also provided coaching to student and postgraduates at Hanoi Architectural University and Hanoi National University. He is also one of the content contributors for Architectural magazines (VN Architects), Urban Planning Magazine (VIUP) and Urban Planning Magazine (VUPDA).
